Checking VSF3 Settings
Open HyperTerminal and use the following settings:
Baud Rate: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: none
Supply power to the VSF3. Type "stop" to get to the main menu.Type in "1," "2," or "3" depending on the meter you want to check. Type in "b." The settings for "S G A L W M" will appear. Make sure settings below are in each meter.
S = 0
G = 0
A = 0
L = 0
W = 1
M = 0
Type "p" to review the change. If they are correct, type "m" to return to the main menu. Type "r" to resume data processing. Be careful not to make any other changes: the VSF3 may not operate if other changes are made and may require extensive support to repair. Call WET Labs if you have any questions (541-929-5650).
