Change an ac-9 Plus from ac-9 to Data Logger Mode

ac-9 Plus meters can operate as either a straight ac-9 or as a data logger (DH-4) depending on the meter's flash memory setup. Meters are typically sent from the factory in Data Logger mode unless a different setup is requested.

  1. Start WL Host v. 7.09 and select the appropriate PC COM port under Logger Port Setup.
  2. Supply power to meter.

Several seconds later, the host program (right) displays:

  • COM Port
  • Baud rate
  • Logger Status—The meter's current flash setting is displayed (Direct to ac9)

3. Select Advanced User mode from the Modes menu at the top of the window. Select Get Setup . View the settings retrieved from the meter on the Port Setup and Logger Control tabs (shown below).

To change from Direct To ac9 to Data Logger mode without cycling power to the meter, select the Logger Control tab, then the desired Mode of Operation. Select Send Setup.
