In-situ Spectrophotometers
In-situ Spectrophotometer
Based on the highly successful ac-9, the ac-spectra (ac-s) offers
almost an order of magnitude increase in spectral resolution of in-situ absorption
and beam attenuation. The 4 nm resolution allows for spectral "fingerprinting"
and deconvolution analysis.

Absorption and Attenuation Meter
The ac-9 simultaneously determines the spectral
transmittance and spectral absorption of water over nine wavelengths.
The unit offers compact size, high precision, and excellent stability in
providing a method for determining the absorption and beam attenuation coefficients.

Absorption and Attenuation Meter +
The ac-9 Plus combines the power of the standard ac-9 with the
added capability of accepting and integrating data from ancillary sensors, which is
incorporated into the serial (RS-232) data stream. WETView, our host data collection
program, records and displays the data from the ac-9 Plus in real-time. This powerful new
tool allows researchers to simultaneously collect the data needed to describe inherent
optical property measurements of natural waters for effects such as salinity and
temperature with one integrated package. The ac-9 Plus is available in several standard configurations:
ac-9 Plus + CTD
ac-9 Plus + ECO BB + CTD
ac-9 Plus + CTD + ECO BB3.
It supports many popular CTDs including the SBE 19, 25, and 37, as well as CTDs
from other manufacturers. Upgrades are available for existing ac-9 sensors.
