CHARM deployment

Channel Relocatable Mooring (CHARM) was designed for deployment and use in coastal and inner-coastal regions. The first CHARM deployment extended from May through October 2003. CHARM was re-deployed in February 2004. The goal is to deploy 3–4 times per year.The CHARM mooring includes the following WET Labs instruments:

ac-9 hyperspectral absorption and beam attenuation meter

ECO "Triplet": spectral backscattering

ECO "Triplet": chlorophyll, phycocyanin, and phycoerythrin

DH-4 Data Handler

CHARM is one of two deployments under the Mulit-discplinary Ocean Sensors for Environmental Analysis (MOSEAN) project.
